A special stabilizer prevents metal particles from settling, which ensures their uniform distribution in the oil. Moving inside the engine together with the oil and freely passing through the filter, Lubrifilm® particles rush to areas of increased loads - that is, where the greatest friction is observed, and therefore wear. Under the influence of temperature and pressure, metal microparticles are rubbed into deformed areas of the cylinder walls, crankshaft liners, engine bearings. Lead penetrates into microcracks, copper prevents wear, and silver prevents oxidation. As a result, after just a few hundred kilometers, the gaps in the cylinders are normalized, compression is equalized, oil pressure increases, and fuel combustion is improved.
By 5 thousand kilometers, the increase in compression reaches its maximum , approaching the values set for this type of engine by the manufacturer and, what is no less important, equalizes the compression in all cylinders.
The residues of the preparation are in a free state in the oil and serve for the constant renewal of the created layer during its inevitable wear during operation of 5'000-10'000 km.
The further behavior of the preparation directly depends on the correctness of the selected dose. If the dose is chosen incorrectly (there is not enough powder), then by the time the oil is changed, the effect may be significantly reduced or, in the worst case, quickly disappear. With the correct dosage, the drop in effect from 5'000 to 10'000 km is insignificant and does not exceed 10-12%.
More than 10'000 km: to maintain the duration of the effect, it is necessary to add additional preparation with each subsequent oil change, based on the engine volume, but without taking into account the specific mileage of the car, i.e. for low mileage, Lubrifilm® also works as an anti-wear agent, preventing metal abrasion.
